If you don't get the size right, it will ruin a man.

If you don't get the size right, it will ruin a man.

Condoms are the most personal items for men, but that does not mean that every man can "control" them. Some doctors said that some patients had contracted sexually transmitted diseases due to choosing inappropriate condoms, or had lost their original purpose of contraception and ended up "getting pregnant". In addition, some people may become impotent because the quilt is too tight, so men must be careful.

Too tight can damage penile tissue

"Whether a condom fits properly or not, size is very important. Even a one millimeter difference in circumference can make a big difference." The standard size of condoms commonly used is 52 millimeters in circumference. Some people need condoms that are larger than the standard size, that is, 51 millimeters in circumference; and there are also many people who need condoms that are smaller than the standard size, that is, 51 millimeters in circumference. Condoms that are larger than standard sizes are mostly imported from Europe and Russia, while small and delicate ones are purchased from Japan.

Regarding the size of condoms, if an ill-fitting condom is used, it will not only affect the "status symbol" that men define themselves, but will also cause discomfort to the user; it will reduce the contraceptive function and may even lead to sexual impotence. The consequences are serious and cannot be ignored. "From a medical point of view, using a condom that is too tight can damage the penile tissue and lead to impotence."

Dr. Chan Siu-huan, Chairman of the Department of Urology at CUHK, pointed out that if condoms that are too tight are used frequently, the penis will suffer from ischemia, resulting in lack of oxygen to the tissues and nerves inside the penis. If the corpus cavernosum is injured, it will lead to impotence, and in severe cases, it will even cause sexual impotence.

Too wide increases the chance of contracting sexually transmitted diseases

Using a condom that is too tight may lead to impotence, but using a condom that is too loose also has potential dangers. Dermatologist Lin Yingming said that some people buy condoms that are too large and simply discard them because they feel they don't fit, or because the condoms don't fit properly, they increase the direct contact between the penis and the vagina, making it easy for semen to leak out, reducing contraceptive effectiveness and increasing the possibility of transmitting sexually transmitted diseases (such as gonorrhea).
