●Pure progestin oral contraceptives are safe and reliable, and mainly play the role of blocking the reproductive process. Such as changing the properties of cervical mucus, preventing sperm penetration, changing the characteristics of the endometrium, and affecting blastocyst implantation. Commonly used ones include levoctamethylnorphine, megestrol acetate, etc.

●Male condoms mainly serve as a barrier, not only blocking sperm from entering the female reproductive tract to achieve a contraceptive effect, but also effectively preventing bacterial, fungal, Trichomonas, protozoa, gonorrhea and viral infection and transmission, which is especially important for preventing sexually transmitted diseases.

●Topical contraceptives (spermicide) Nonoxynol ether is a surfactant that can interact with the protein membrane of sperm cells, change the permeability of spermatogonia, and thus kill sperm to achieve the purpose of contraception. External contraceptives do not affect the sexual pleasure of both parties, do not affect endocrine and menstruation, and do not inhibit milk secretion. Commonly used ones include nonoxynol film, nonoxynol vaginal tablets, nonoxynol contraceptive suppositories and nonoxynol jelly, with a contraceptive effectiveness rate of 94%-97%.

The above are the contraceptive methods during breastfeeding, mainly intrauterine contraceptive devices and some necessary external contraceptives for ear diseases, which are also relatively common. Pregnant women who are breastfeeding should try not to use some necessary oral supplements because they will cause some reactions in breast milk, affect appetite and even cause a decrease in protein and fat trace elements in breast milk, which will also have a certain impact on the growth and development of the fetus.
