Why do men like women's butts?

Watching from a distance, fantasizing, touching, squeezing, what is it that attracts so many men's attention to women's beautiful buttocks? Theory has long believed that women's hourglass figure, including the entire lower body, is extremely attractive. Because it shows women's health status and fertility to some extent.

We know that buttocks can reflect a woman's unique femininity. After entering puberty, sex hormones begin to affect the distribution of body fat. For men, fat is more likely to accumulate around the internal organs. In women, fat accumulates more in the buttocks and thighs.

But that doesn't mean men around the world are falling for big butts. Generally speaking, weight is also an important indicator, but different cultures may have different views. For example, a study pointed out that in the UK, Spain, Portugal and other places, men prefer slim girls, while Latin men are more interested in thin waists and big buttocks. Another study found that big breasts are more attractive than big buttocks.

In fact, it seems that there are only two types of men - those who like big breasts and those who like big butts. A 2012 study found that Argentinian male respondents said they valued either breasts or buttocks more, but not to the same degree. (The study also found that people prefer butts more.) At the same time, the researchers recorded their eye movements when they saw women of both body types. The results showed that when they looked at beautiful women, their eyes generally only stayed on the parts that interested them.
