Men's hair loss means they have too much desire

Men's hair loss means they have too much desire

There have always been many "legends" between male baldness and sexual ability. In Russia, people believe that bald men have strong sexual desire and strong sexual ability, while in Southeast Asia, people tend to believe that bald men have poor physical fitness and low sexual desire. Recently, a study published in the American media pointed out that if men have too strong sexual desire, they will have a higher risk of hair loss in the future.

Researchers in Kansas, USA, surveyed 879 men ranging in age from 40 to 60 years old. The researchers first asked about their sexual habits, including sexual desire and frequency, and evaluated their hair loss. The results showed that in middle-aged and young men, the more vigorous the sexual desire of men, the more likely they were to suffer from hair loss.

Researchers analyzed that this is closely related to the testosterone level in men. Testosterone is the most important male hormone in the male body. It combines with an enzyme in the human body and is converted into dihydrotestosterone. In addition to maintaining a man's normal sexual desire, dihydrotestosterone can also make muscles more developed and body hair thicker. However, too much dihydrotestosterone will cause hair follicles to mature prematurely, shortening the hair growth cycle, causing the hair to stop growing prematurely and then fall out.

Having well-developed muscles does not necessarily mean having strong sexual desire

So, what does sexual desire have to do with it? Is it, as the story above says, “related to muscles”?

Human thinking is controlled by the brain. All kinds of thoughts and ideas are generated by the brain, and sexual desire is no exception. Normal brain structure is the basis for sexual desire. It can be said that when a person is born, his future physiological level of sexual desire is basically determined.

But in addition to the role of the brain and nervous system, endocrine hormones also play an important role. The main endocrine hormones that affect sexual desire are androgens. In men, androgens are produced by the testicles, while in women, androgens are secreted by the ovaries and adrenal glands. Only when the androgen content is normal can normal sexual desire be guaranteed. To some extent, people with high androgen levels may have stronger sexual desire than those with low androgen levels.

Men have higher levels of androgen in their blood than women. It is this difference that determines the differences between men and women in terms of body appearance and sexual characteristics. Men's aggressiveness and initiative in sex are also caused by androgens.

The physiological effect of androgens in the body is to accelerate protein synthesis and promote the development of male bones and muscles. Therefore, the bone and especially muscle content of men is much higher than that of women.

The formation of male muscles is determined by both genetic genes and the stimulation of androgens. Through acquired exercise, muscle fibers will become thicker and muscles will become more and more developed.

Generally speaking, men with well-developed muscles have normal androgen levels, but this does not mean that men with well-developed muscles necessarily have strong sexual desire. On the contrary, we can say with certainty that most people with strong sexual desire often have healthy bodies and abundant energy.

The higher the income, the stronger the sexual desire

Although wealth itself cannot bring lasting happiness, it has another magical effect - it improves sexual performance. A survey of 20,000 people conducted by the French social networking site "Electronic Lover" confirmed this: the amount of income and property can affect people's desire for sex. The more income, the stronger the sexual desire.

In the survey, researchers asked respondents a question related to sexual interest: "Do you have a strong sexual desire?" As a result, 41% of those with an annual income of more than 75,000 euros answered affirmatively; among those with an annual income of less than 12,000 euros, the proportion was only 23%. In this regard, psychologists who study sexual behavior at Humboldt University of Berlin in Germany believe that people with high incomes have better self-esteem, feel generally good, and are more confident in pursuing their desires, which undoubtedly include strong sexual desires.
