The attractive smell not only affects women's choice of mate, but also affects the time and frequency of women's sex and even the probability of pregnancy. Relevant scholars have pointed out that frequently smelling pheromones emitted by men can increase women's chances of pregnancy. Pheromones are glandular secretions in the mouth, armpits, breasts, anus, urinary tract, etc. Except for humans, other mammals have a special olfactory organ called the vomeronasal organ, which can recognize pheromone signals and "host" the mating rituals of the animal kingdom. A study found that regular sex (at least once a week) can adjust women's menstrual cycle, increase women's basal body temperature to increase the probability of pregnancy, and increase estrogen secretion in the luteal phase, which refers to the day after ovulation to the day before menstruation. Another study found that women who had sex more than twice in a 40-day period ovulated far more often than women who had sex less frequently.

Again, sexual attraction is key. Winifred Cutler, director of the Athena Institute in Pennsylvania, USA, discovered that pheromones emitted by men can also arouse women's sexual desire. She conducted a study involving 38 heterosexual men aged between 26 and 42. First, participants kept a log of their sexual and dating behaviors for two weeks. Then, for a month, they applied an aftershave—either regular aftershave or one with a blend of pheromones naturally produced by men—but the participants didn't know which one they were using. Participants continued to keep records during the month of the experiment. The results showed that if the participants used aftershave containing pheromone additives, their intimate behaviors and sexual intercourse became more frequent, and they had more romantic encounters. During this period, there were no changes in the participants' masturbatory behavior. This proves that it is not their own sexual excitement that causes their active sexual activity, but the pheromones in the aftershave that play a role in attracting bees and butterflies.

Women have a keen sense of smell, so not paying attention to personal hygiene may disgust them, while a faint scent of perfume may cause them strong emotional shock. But not only that, women can also keenly capture other information, such as the strength of the immune system, the symmetry and asymmetry of the body shape, etc. Whether consciously or unconsciously, women's sexual desire is quietly ignited by the pheromones emitted by men.
