Men suffer more than women after divorce

Today, the marriage rate is slowly declining around the world, but the divorce rate is rising rapidly.

According to statistics, many divorces are initiated by women. Although the woman may be left with nothing except her children after the divorce, and the children often make her hope of remarrying zero.

So, who suffers the most after divorce, men or women?

Sociologists once conducted a survey on 300 men and women who had just divorced or had been divorced for 12 years. The results were shocking: among the 150 men surveyed, 7 committed suicide and 3 were imprisoned. Are men the victims of divorce? British scientists have found that divorced men are 76% more likely to die when they are young and strong than women.

The German men surveyed admitted that the greatest pain they suffered was the difficulty in seeing their children, followed by the financial pressure caused by "subsidizing" their ex-wives. Many German men find a new life partner 10 months after divorce, but they don't get married. 16% of the men surveyed said divorce was a mistake they deeply regretted.

According to a statistic in Germany, 2/3 of divorced men and women are able to re-establish new families.

So, how to overcome the crisis of divorce? Of course, there is no "magic pill", but psychologists give divorced men and women some "advice": first, do not put all the blame for the divorce on the other party; second, it is not advisable to hate the other party; third, do not fantasize about the so-called "happy breakup", because divorce itself is intertwined with many emotions - hatred, anger, grievance, and sadness. If these emotions are not expressed and become subconscious, it will be very dangerous. Such people cannot get out of the vicious circle of divorce even at the last moment of their lives. So, whatever love or hate you have in your heart, just vent it out! After you vent your feelings, ask yourself: Where did I go wrong?
