Why do I get a headache after watching too much porn?

Many men like to get visual stimulation and enjoyment from pornographic films, but they don’t realize that this may pose hidden dangers. According to the Popular Health Network, a large-scale study in India found that frequent viewing of pornography can induce headaches.

A 24-year-old single engineer in India has been suffering from splitting headaches every time he watches porn for two years.

New Delhi neurologists found that the patient had no history of headaches, no family history of migraines, and had never suffered a head injury. Through further research, they found that watching pornography causes headaches because the excited emotions make the face and jaw more sensitive to pain, and also affect the blood flow to the brain's blood vessels, thereby inducing headaches.

Sex-related headaches are not uncommon and can be divided into two types:

One is the headache before orgasm. This type of headache starts with sexual activity and gradually gets worse over time. The second is orgasm headache, which is a sudden headache when reaching orgasm. Headaches caused by watching porn fall into the first category. Researchers recommend that men watch pornography in moderation to avoid affecting their health.
