Mexican men's "virgin complex" is no less intense than that of Chinese men.

Statistics show that more than a hundred women undergo this operation every month in the country, and "restoring virginity" has become a fashion pursued by local women. Not everyone agrees with women undergoing "hymen repair" surgery. Mexican psychologist Ricardo Melgoza strongly criticized the fact that so many Mexican women spend huge amounts of money on this surgery: "Accepting this surgery means committing the double mistake of 'self-deception'. On the one hand, this woman is deceiving her new sexual partner; on the other hand, she is also deceiving herself. In fact, this is a strange social phenomenon caused by the traditional social thinking of male supremacy and people's hypocrisy."

Norway

Even in the relatively open Nordic countries, people still cannot ignore the "virgin complex". Bicycles are a common means of transportation in the lives of Nordic people. However, many Muslim families living in Norway strictly prohibit girls from riding bicycles. The reason is said to be that "riding a bicycle can easily cause damage to sexual organs, especially breaking a woman's hymen."

According to Shayero Kahn, a representative of the Labor Political Group in Oslo, many girls from Arab countries are told that if they ride a bicycle, their hymen will be broken and they will find it difficult to get married in the future. But Kahn believes that this custom of not allowing cycling has nothing to do with Islam and is simply a manifestation of ignorance. Because medical professionals have pointed out that as long as you pay attention to safety, cycling will not pose any threat to the hymen.

But what’s interesting is that under the influence of these foreign girls, some Nordic girls who have settled in the local area for a long time have also begun to stay away from bicycles. Even among the modern-minded Nordic people, the "virgin complex" still looms.

USA

Americans have the weakest concept of "chastity". A telephone survey of 100 unmarried men aged 24-30 confirmed that as many as 78% of them clearly stated that they did not care much about whether the other party had a "hymen" before marriage. Among them, 35% even said that they not only don’t care whether the other person is a virgin, but also don’t care whether the other person has been pregnant.

But every year, thousands of young girls in the United States still take the so-called "loyalty oath", which means they promise to remain their virginity before officially getting married. According to the latest survey statistics from the American organization to protect teenage girls from pregnancy, 20% of American teenagers under the age of 15 have had sexual experience, which means that one in every five such teenagers has had sexual intercourse with others. The proportion is much higher than that of their peers in France or the United Kingdom.

The survey also showed that among American girls who had had sexual intercourse with others around the age of 14, 14% of them had experienced pregnancy. The person in charge of the survey said that this number may of course be somewhat different from the actual situation, and the proportion of American teenagers under the age of 15 who have had sexual experience may be even higher. The reason is that many investigators and parents being investigated were worried that the boys and girls would feel embarrassed, so they concealed the facts.

This figure also shows that the proportion of boys and girls under the age of 15 who have sexual intercourse with others has increased significantly compared with previous years. The survey also shows that whether a girl's "virgin consciousness" is weak or not is closely related to the discipline of her parents. In families where children are often talked about sex, the chance of a girl losing her virginity is about half that of her peers.
