There are three main types of oral contraceptives:

(1) Testosterone derivatives, such as norethindrone and norgestrel.

(2) Progesterone derivatives, such as megestrol acetate.

(3) Estrogen derivatives, such as ethinyl estradiol. Currently, the oral contraceptives used by women in my country are mainly estrogen-progestin combined contraceptives. These drugs are relatively safe, have few side effects, and are reliable in effect.
