3. Pregnant women and children should not use tetracycline to avoid liver poisoning of the mother, yellowing of the fetal tooth enamel, and inhibition of fetal bone development.

4. Regular follow-up examinations should be conducted after treatment to determine whether re-treatment is needed.

5. Within 12 hours after the first treatment of syphilis patients, "Jie Hai reaction" may occur because penicillin quickly kills the syphilis spirochetes and releases foreign proteins. The symptoms include flu-like symptoms such as fever, chills, malaise, joint pain, nausea and headache. The syphilis lesions may temporarily worsen, and anaphylactic shock may occur in severe reactions.
