Do women use "herd mentality" to look at men?

Psychological researchers have recently discovered an interesting phenomenon: when a man is surrounded by many opposite sexes, women will evaluate him as "charming"; but when there are no other women around him, women's evaluation of his charm will be greatly reduced.

Psychological analysis:

Psychological experts believe that the primary reason for this phenomenon is the fixed mindset. Because in our lives, people who are willing to be approached by most people are charming.

Secondly, when judging male attractiveness, women often do not base their judgment on facts, but rely on the reactions of their peers and trust their peers' judgments. Therefore, they are more likely to follow the crowd in their behavior. Among all the conforming women, some consciously accept the judgment of their peers and align themselves with them in terms of views and behaviors. They not only show that they believe that this man is attractive, but also truly believe so in their hearts.

There are some other women who, unlike the ones mentioned above, may not actually agree with the judgment of their peers in their hearts. However, due to the influence of the opinions of their peers or the majority, when facing group pressure, they will choose to agree on the surface, even though they have their own thoughts in their hearts. However, in order to maintain coordination with everyone, the following approaches are usually adopted: either change one's own attitude to be consistent with the majority; or give up superficial pandering and be consistent with one's own inner views.

This leads to a saying we often hear nowadays: women have a "herd mentality" when looking at men, that is, sheep have very poor eyesight and can only see things close to them. They cannot see things farther away clearly, so they have to follow the sheep in front of them, and the sheep in front of them will follow the one in front of it. As a result, the whole flock of sheep seems to be heading in the same direction and can only keep changing directions following the shepherd. "Herd mentality" describes some people who have no opinions of their own and whose only criterion is to look at the actions of others first. Any decision made by these people is not made through their own analysis, but based on what others do.
