The examination starts from the top of the breast, clockwise for the right breast and counterclockwise for the left breast; starting from the outside of the breast and gradually moving inward to the nipple. Raise your left hand behind your head, and use your right hand to check your left breast. At this time, keep the fingers of your right hand together and massage in a clockwise direction above the nipple and below the clavicle. Be careful not to press or squeeze with your fingertips.

Examine the right breast in the same way. First, circle the breast with your fingers, then press from top to bottom from the left side of the breast to the right side, and finally make a radial examination from the nipple to the outside. Be careful to keep your fingers on the breast at all times to make sure you don't miss any spot. The examination should also include the axilla and clavicle. Don't use too much force to avoid causing breast pain.
